Perhaps more of advice than critical comment => I have found that as I shoot nature scenics I tend to shoot them as they are other than removing eyesores resulting from man's inclination to pollute the environment. Often others want to see more of a perfect pristine appearence such as flowers & vegatation must be swept aside unless they are in effect part of the effect you are seeking to produce.
note the sticks in forground & leaf in background tend to compete for the viewers attention.
Thanks for your comment ctg. It's greatly appreciated. I have noticed the leaf and stick, I tend to shoot things as I see them. I try not to take the "perfect" shot, rather than just document what I see.
To give a background to the photo, it was taken a cemetery. The guardian angel is indeed just that, a guardian angel. It's located on one of the smallest, unmarked graves I found. I felt really moved. I could argue that the leaves and stick portrayed the image that the grave is not looked after, which it isn't, but that's after the fact and not what I had in mind when I took the shot.
