Quite agree with you. Nearly passed this one over because of the grid on the window but then thought that it MIGHT be considered symbolic.
Could it suggest that we must protect both the things we consider of value . . . . . and the atmosphere that these certain colours create ?

let me add my kudos too glenn....actually i LOVE the squares in the screen covering the window for a whole different reason. to me they impart a very graphic element to this warm and inviting scene and i wonder if the impact would have lessened without this integral part of this wonderful shot.
