Traveling South from Red Lodge, Montana to Cooke City, Montana on Highway 212 you come across this magnificent climb from 5,000 feet to 10,400 feet in about 13 miles........while checking the links for you to have more information, I ran across this one that has photos of a mud and snow damage that wiped out great sections of this highway.....click on the link and see all the damage in about 32 photos.......and arial views of the highway on the mountain shown in my photo...this is definitely an exhilariating drive......the Northeast entrance to Yellowstone Park
