28-135 IS plus extension tubes looks very good! I've never tried it. But I like it.
Composition is a bit off for me. I think it feels a little heavy with the mantis so close to the bottom and so much empty space up above. I don't know if you'd consider it, but cropping tighter, and losing a bit of the antenae might strengthen this one.
