Nice shot, I tried a photo almost exactly like this after a rain shower a couple of weeks ago. Same type flower too. The beads of water make for a nice effect.

I like the effect also. The big challenge was to get enough DOF to keep everything in focus. Not easy on an overcast day and hand holding. Deep breath and cross your fingers.Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

I used a tripod on my attempt but didn't get anything satifactory. I had the same depth of field problem as well. I tried the flash but it messed up the water droplets.

There are lots of chanllenges to overcome when you move in close. Just noticed you are from Hoptown. I lived there when I was in early grade school.Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??
