It looks cold. It's got that hard, sharp light that usually only happens when it's cold. I wonder why that is?

You live in a great area for photography, Andy - at least to my eyes. It's very different from where I live. And you've got a good eye for the landscape there. There are a couple of things I'd change about this one. It feels a bit dark and blue to me. That's pretty easy to fix with Photoshop. It just needs a little adjustment. More important, I think it could use a bit of a crop on the water. The waterline is too centered in the composition. Plus, the water doesn't really have anything happening. It's mostly wasted space. You need some water to set the scene, but definitely not half the frame. Try cropping most of the water out and leaving just enough to let the viewer know it's there.

Great light and colors, thougth I recommend too to cat half size or more of the water (below) to increase landscape effect. I am not agree with John about the colors. I like it as is.
