If you follow my photography you know that I take a lot of sunset, alpenglow photos of the Wasatch Mountains around Salt Lake City. This one is a little different. It was taken from the Saltair resort (word used loosely) east of Salt Lake City, on the Great Salt Lake. I liked the juxtaposition of the dumpsters, the lonely lightpost and the pretty snow-covered mountains in the distance. And I believe this really does reflect the feeling of the location I was shooting from. There's a lot of natural beauty. But at the same time, it's pretty dumpy.
