Took advantage of a cold rainy day to give the weatherproof Olympus Stylus 800 Digital a real test. This photo wasn't easy and it wasn't perfect. At ISO 400 and a very slow shutter speed, there's a lot of noise and getting a shot without noticeable camera shake was not easy. But how many cameras would it be safe and possible to use for two hours in the pouring rain? Even if the photo isn't perfect, the Olympus Stylus 800 Digital with it's weatherproofing was the perfect camera for this photo. It's not likely that it would have been taken without the Stylus 800.
This image has been optimized for color, contrast, saturation, and sharpness with Photoshop. That doesn't minimize the importance of the camera, though. Let me repeat that the weatherproof camera was critical in making this photo possible.
