About Islamic Revolution and the rising of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him)or (pbuh)
=======================================
The coincidence of the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran and the rising of Imam Hussein (pbuh) is a rare celestial event.
The bloody battlefield of Karbala, Iraq, witnessed one of the most significant incidents of the Umayyad dynasty in the year 680 CE because the Islamic world was then governed by a number of cruel rulers such as Yazid the son of Muawiyah.
Under such circumstances, the humane teachings of Prophet Mohammad(pbuh) were gradually being forgotten, while those who had assumed power in the Islamic world learned how to live the luxurious life from the Byzantine kings and oppressed the poor people.
Witnessing such corruption in the Islamic community, Imam Hussein (pbuh) and 72 of his companions left the Hijaz for Iraq in order to reform the society of Prophet Mohammad(pbuh).
This was actually the beginning of a reformist movement led by Imam Hussein (pbuh). However, after the grievous martyrdom of Imam Hussein (pbuh) in Karbala, his reformist movement ended and the brutal rulers of the Umayyad and Abbasid dynasties began to repress progressive movements again.
A similar situation arose in Iran at the end of the 14th century AH (Islamic lunar calendar) when the founder of the Islamic Republic, the late Imam Khomeini, rose against the cruelty and torture imposed on the Iranian nation by the Pahlavi regime in 1963.
Although the Iranians uprising of June 1963 was severely repressed by the Pahlavi security and military forces (SAVAK) and Imam Khomeini was sent into exile.
Thousands of Iranian youth were martyred during the struggle against the Pahlavi regime, but nevertheless the Islamic Revolution finally toppled the Pahlavi monarchy on February 11, 1979.
At first glance, one may not be able to draw a direct connection between the rising of Imam Hussein(pbuh) and the Islamic Revolution in Iran.
However, in light of recent developments in the world, the coincidence of the rising of Imam Hussein (pbuh) and the Islamic Revolution in Iran is in fact the secret code of a puzzle with a specific message.
Now that the Islamic Republic is being pressured by the global powers, it is clear that the connection of the rising of Imam Hussein (pbuh) and the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution is the strong desire of the Iranian nation to work for a brighter future.
Iranians feel that the time has now arrived for them to learn a lesson from the resistance of Imam Hussein (pbuh) against tyrants and to try to follow his model.
That is to say, Iranian youth should resist the oppression of the U.S. and its allies and continue on the path that the great Iranian nation has chosen.
