6061 Aluminum

Custom made by a friend that is a machinist, and a highly skilled one I might add.
He designed,fashioned this from billet 6061 Aluminum. This is a 2 piece creation.
First do the math,mill,cut . blue, red anodizing process,Then the stars, stripes are
forever machined.
The blue /red are held by stainless pins .
Quite a beautiful piece. Any comments?

All machining done on a bridgeport CNC mill.
