This was taken in color with the Panasonic Lumix LX2 and converted to black and white using a Photoshop channel mixer adjustment layer.

Thanks to the Panasonic's MEGA O.I.S. image stabilization I was able to take this picture handheld with no flash at 1/10th of a second and ISO 100. Built-in optical image stabilization in compact digital cameras is a wonderful thing!
