Dana, this is lovely! In reference to your stamen comment, I happened to scroll down while viewing the lg image. I imagined a crop below the orange tip, and cutting off just a few of the yellow pollen "thingy's" (forgive my Latin). In this image, my eye starts at the flower center and is led up the stamen to the focal point tip. With it cropped off the stamen loses it's focal point power so my eye begins at the pollen and is led down to the beautiful petals. What do you think?

beautiful photo dana. i too like the diagonal on the picture. great colors. i see what stephanie is saying but knowing the tip is there and is so unique... it's hard to imagine cropping it out. either way - both make lovely photos.
