Been out "birdin'" as of late, perstistant to get better quality nature photographs. Caught this guy red handed, or green footed if it were.
The image stabilization works wonders, hand held at 450mm 1/100th sec. Definatley could not have done this shot the same way with my R-1.

I think this is a young specimen if im correct however. I've never taken the time to really try to get wildlife shots but im trying out my birdin' skills as of late, and I find it very very satisfying as an outdoorsman. I was happy with this one, a sharp wildlife image is 10x more rewarding than a sunset or still imho.
