Flowing from beneath Camanche Dam, the Mokelumne is a year-round fishery that hosts wild Rainbow Trout and runs of Steelhead. The resident Trout fishing can be good virtually all year with some reaching 20+ inches.

This is a magical place in the mountains of Northern California.

I finally figured out why My previous photos exibited so much noise

.I was shooting in Auto mode. :mad2:

Your comments, advice to TERRYBEAGLE (Canon S2iS) about shooting in "Program or Manual mode has paid off ! The S1iS shares many of the same modes, is almost identical.

I now shoot all my photos in Manual mode...ect...ect. Full metering ,ISO control. I'm just starting to realize the full potential of "IS"

I found new info--> IS has -2- settings; wide, tele.:idea:
I had to read my 165 page owners manual...again

Hi Rick,
I am glad for you and success in your camera working. Your last photos on ISO=50 are very clear as I like (default ISO=160 on AUTO mode even in light conditions). But not a camera does the picture, and I see as you did it beautiful.
