i love this old ship. it was built here in gold beach and has a very storied history...i believe it's about a hundred years old and even holds a whaling record or two. it is sad to see it succumb to the weather but i still love to go and see her. she has been drawn and painted many, many times and has probably had a zillion pictures taken of her. it is not floating but resting on the bottom of the harbor.
