What do you think of this version. UNEDITED capture.
This was taken 2 minutes after the first "mirror" shot.
ZooM was set at 7x optical.

The original "mirror" shot -ZooM 10x.optical.

No cars were used in the making of this capture.hehe
I just got lucky... :O)

Good point.
You would think at this time of the night...? This is a 4 star hotel. Maybe business is lite.

Awesome shot. Love the contrast in the colors. The room lighting splattered about breaks up the dark colors and adds interest.

I'd have given it a 10 but for the perspective distortion.

Thanks...What causes the "perspective distortion"?.Small lense? angle? I'm curious

From WikiPedia:

"Perspective projection distortion occurs in photographs when the film plane is not parallel to lines that are desired to be parallel in the photo. A common case is when a photo is taken of a tall building from ground level by tilting the camera backwards; the building appears to fall away from the camera."

You can correct this in most of the pro level graphics programs. In Photoshop 7.0 it's under Edit/Transform. Other versions probably have it there also.

Edit: I email your hotmail account with correction steps for Photoshop. Hope you don't mind. It's a great correction procedure and very easy to do.

Very nice! I drive by this building a couple of times a day (commuting of course) and I've been wondering how to approach this one. Where did you stand? I don't usually try buildings, but all that mirror is sure tempting.

Thanks. I shot this below the bridge {University ave.frontage road /101 N }There is a spot to pull off,just before the exit to university.walk back 100 feet to the wall. at the bridge,look to the left, thar she is...
So, I am standing in a vacume as automobiles wizz by I'm completely safe from the cars ,unseen by everyone :O)
