I live in Covina, Calif. and on this day I got a call from my younger brother saying he saw a movie set in old town Covina. I got my gear and drove down there with my son.

"Dad, it's "Monk"!' my son said. "How do you know?" I asked. "Look over there! It's Tony Shaloub!" It turns out that "Monk" is one of my son's favorite TV shows. "It's a popular show," he said. Here's one of the many frames I shot that night.
