I like the idea,Really like the Bokeh! The light is effective,gives great shadowplay in the B.G.It's quite nice for this cold feeling.I would really like this if it were Tack Sharp.
My only nitpicks are...you were too close, or is the focus off? As a beginner I frequently got right up,too close to the subject.
With all the megapixels avail. now you have room to breath.Try this again, back up one foot.Set your focus point to wide, spot metering,even try manual flash, at the min. setting.
You might see some amazing sparkle with a bit of light.Then you can resize in camera. 1250 x 840 is good.
Just my thoughts,I'm no expert. :O)
