Good eye! It's a really nice composition and I love the rich colors. The out-of-focus background makes the leaf stand out nicely. However, when I look at the large version, I can see that only the tip of the leaf is in focus. So it works small, but it's really flawed. From your EXIF data I see you were at 133mm and f/5.6. That's pushing your luck with a subject this small. And since you're shooting with a digital SLR, there's no reason you can't check your focus. The right thing to do with a photo like this is to shoot it, zoom in on LCD to check your focus, and if it's not sharp, redo it with a smaller aperture or more careful focus.
I hope you don't mind my critique. It is a photography site and I like to think everyone is here to get better. Plus, this is such a nice image that I would like to see you get them perfect in the future
