I don't have a problem with using it at all in this manner. You did a nice job with the arrangement and comp on these beautiful blossoms. The colors are very complementary. that may have been lost without the neutral background you used.

Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

The black background is quite nice, Dana. It may not work for everything, but here it's wonderful.
And (if you don't mind) it makes a great desktop background. I set the overall background to black as well and the blooms seem to be floating.
