Description}: This is a lamp I made in my college intro metals class. It's made of some old mountain bike parts, which came off a bike that I was riding solo in Moab, UT when it decided to spontaneously explode and put me in the hospital. The parts were wrecked, but I kept them around for a few years until I came up with a project for them. As this is one of my first SLR shots, I immediately realized that although I have the option of shooting at f/1.8, sometimes it's not the best idea. I think this shot would have been much sharper at f/3.5 or greater. And obviously I need some work on learning my flash.
