Description}: It was a sunny day at the golf course and the links were packed. I took the Fuji and played with it at the driving range and practice green. This shot is 27mm, ISO 100, 1/100th, and f8. I used the on camera flash also to try and take away some of the shadows.

Description}: I'd just gotten my new car and the fiance wanted to drive. What was I ever to do? This was 27mm, ISO 400, 1/20th, and f/4. I used the on camera flash and bounced it into the roof using my fingers. She said it never bothered her...I think she just wanted to drive the car so badly she wouldn't tell me the truth. ;) Oh yeah, the car was going about 65 mph.

Description}: Capitola's night lights. I wanted to see how high ISO and noise were with the Fuji so I decided to shoot the night lights on one of Capitola's few fogless eves. 27mm, 1/50th, ISO 1600, and F8.

Description}: Santa Cruz, Ca - I took the 40D to beaches along the coast of Santa Cruz. I'd already tasked the 40D with fast movement and flash photography at the dirt jumps. I wanted to see how the AF performed with the highly reflective water, extreme back lighting, and tricky water spray. I would say, the 40D handled everything I threw at it with great results.

Description}: Testing the Canon EOS 40D at the local dirt jumps. I stood at the top of an adjacent jump and used my 580 EX to provide fill light for the rider. I used the 40D's ETTL and added some flash compensation to put this shot together.
