Description}: This photo was taken in the historic RCA Studio A in Nashville, TN, now owned by musician Ben Folds. Dolly Parton, Waylong Jennings and the Beach Boys all recorded here. The light was very low so I pushed the Sony A7R hard and shot this at ISO 6400. I think it looks pretty damn good, if I do say so myself. The lens was Sony's A-mount 24-70mm f/2.8 Zeiss mounted with an adapter.

Description}: I guess this is a sort of a self-portrait. It's the crutches I currently rely on to get around, and part of my office, where I spend most of my time, regardless of what everyone things :) This photo was really taken as a quick snapshot to test the Nikon Coolpix S9500 pocket superzoom camera. However, I kinda like it. It does sort of sum things up for me right now. Note that this was taken at ISO 3200. It's a little mushy but the image quality really isn't too bad considering it's a point-and-shoot camera with a 1/2.3-inch sensor. Click on the image to see the large, 2500 pixel file I uploaded.

Description}: JPG with only white balance adjusted in Lightroom 4. Focus point was on the spring. This to me is another image like the radishes. Incredibly sharp with incredible details. Even at a higher ISO. This is squeaky clean for a APS-C sensor at any price.
