Description}: Self-portrait made with the Canon T4i (650D) and Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 zoom. This photo was made a lot easier by the T4i's tilt-swivel touchscreen display. I flipped it around so I could see myself while I was composing, and then to take the picture, I just touched my eye on the LCD. The touch shutter feature focused where I touched the LCD and then took the picture. Very, very convenient :)

The picture i uploaded is from a fountain and the reason i called it "The Spitting Man" is because as the water is falling it made an image of a face and a drop of water is falling out our it's mouth. Description}: Sharing photos with the mode at a Sony media event. That's a Sony NEX-6 in the photographer's hands and this photo was taken with an NEX-6. This photo was shot at ISO 1600 and pushed really hard. I lightened it by about a stop in Lightroom (half exposure, half shadow adjustment) and then polished it some more in Photoshop.

Description}: Photo of photographer Joe Gunawan at Point Lobos, just south of Carmel, California. This was taken at f/2.0 with Sony's new RX1 full-frame compact digital camera. I posted uploaded it at 2500 pixels so the pixel peepers can check it for sharpness. It's pretty impressive - especially for f/2.0. My only complaint is I had to shoot it as a JPEG because there's no RAW support yet. I'm not super happy with the contrast and color I'm getting from the RX1 JPEGs. Hopefully I'll be able to get more out of the RAW files once the RX1 is supported by Lightroom.
