Description}: I scored a joy ride in the ships chopper and this was the view as we approached for landing. Ships feel big when your in harbour, smaller when your at sea and look tiny when viewed with the expanse of the ocean.

Description}: Another glassy day in the Gulf of Oman. We came alongside USS Mobile Bay and I got the opportunity to spend a day onboard this awesome piece of weaponry.

Description}: I shot his through a port hole about 6" in diameter. The glas had a thin coating of sea salt, hence the softness to the shot.

Description}: This is why helicopters are chained down to the flight deck on ships. This was actually a flat day at sea, the roll is induced through 30 degrees of port rudder at 24 knots.

Description}: I passed this hulk every morning for a couple of months before finally getting a chance to shoot it. It's in a creek way down the pointy end of Tasmania (some of you will have to search for where that is and it's not too close to anywhere!)
