Description}: This is the view from Caesars Head state park. The rock is called Table Rock and the lake is part of the water shed that provides water for the Greenville, SC area. I think I used a orange filter, I can't remember the number it was a Corkin.

Description}: This house sits on a ridge. The lightning didn't really hit the home, it was miles away behind it. It sure looks like it did though. Had to post it, I always thought it was a cool shot. By the way thanks to everyone who has commented on my images, I love to here from you and get feed back.

Description}: One grain of salt. I used a 70-210 zoom mounted on the camera then a 18-70 reversed and taped to the front of that. I call this technique lens stacking. You have a very shallow dof but boy can you get a close shot.

Description}: I always carry a piece of black cloth in the camera bag just for these occasions. The sun was very bright this day and I used a hand held scrim to block some of the direct sunlight. The only problem, it made the image a little flat. If I had three arms I may have been able to sidelight it a little for texture... anyway here it is.
