Description}: A more complete view of 'Wispy little waterfall'. The green cable running along the top half of the photo is there for inconsiderate bungee jumpers hell bent on ruining nature for all of us. I mean, you have this pristine beautiful area being spoiled by their equipment and cables and stuff. Nature is there for nature lovers and not egomaniacs! Taken at Oribi Gorge, about 30 km's inland from Port Shepstone on the Kwazulu/Natal South Coast.

Description}: I have never been there and God forbid that I ever find myself in such a situation but I can only imagine that the death of a child must be the biggest sorrow that can be bestowed upon parents. I was rather reluctant in posting this photo because of the intense agony and torment associated with the passing away of a little one. Nonetheless, I am of the believe that photography should portray good and bad, happiness and sadness and the positive and negative sides of life. This old, unknown childs grave rather touched me as it was alone and quite a distance away from the others. The little angel and the ironwork surrounding it is quite weathered as well. I imagine the parents of this child are long deceased. There's no headstone, name or dates anywhere on or near the grave which added to the sense of mystery surrounding it. To add to that, I coloured the photo in sepia.

Description}: View of one of the lookout towers in the National Zoological Gardens in Pretoria, South Africa. This lookout tower is situated on the ridge at the back of the zoo. The building in the left of the photo is where the zoo's cable car enters and exits. Normally you would go up on the ridge in the cable car and then take a leisurely stroll down to the bottom of the zoo. (Or the other way around if you feel more active!) The high wall from the lookout tower to the bottom is the division between the lion and tiger enclosures. I stand to be corrected but I think the original zoo was built before the 1900's

Description}: This is the first time I managed to capture a shot of a helicopter so close in flight. I'm not good with action shots and you can see the subject is a bit 'soft'. Nonetheless I don't think it's such a bad pic. For me it's actually darn good! (I always start shaking and swinging wildly from side to side when trying to capture fast moving objects.) This one was flying over the beach when we were on holiday now two weeks ago
