Description}: The place I took this photo and many many others is like nothing else I have ever seen. The best way I am able to describe the geography of the land is like what I've seen of photos of the moon's surface. Due to the tides there is this very interesting rock formations off the coast of Western Canada on the Haida Gwaii. The colours in this photo are great, or so I think.

Description}: I took this photo by just using the black and white setting on the camera. I took a few photos at the same time, this being the only one that looks over-exposed, but in the end I like this photo the best. The female in the photo's blonde hair works so well with this photo, her hair blends in creating a flowing photo.

Totem Pole

Description}: On a class trip we went to the Haida Gwaii, located off the coast of North Western Canada. I took many many shots but I enjoy this one because I was able to capture a large part of the totem pole which was not always so easy. At times it was hard to be able to get a good angle. As well I love the stronge colours in it.

Description}: I took a photo of my best friend who (obviously) plays the harp. She doesn't enjoy photo's all that much but I managed to get this one which i was quite happy with. I turned the background black and white while having her remain color. Compared to the original she looks more defined in this photo and it draws your attention more unto her instead of the harp and background.

Description}: I took a photo at a friend's wedding. There was a person in the background (taking photos) that I edited out. Then I processed to turn the picture black and white while leaving the Father's tie and the brides flowers in colour. I am happy with the outcome of the photo.

Description}: While in Holland I visited a small town called Medembljk. Within this town there is this small boat harbour. The story behind this harbour is that through the ages it has changed. At one point it was a soccer field but the town need more room for boats so the ground was dug up and converted.
